Count seats before planning the rounds

The digital edition includes 40 boards and 54 calling cards. For a group of 20, start with one distinct board per player. For a larger gathering, check the board count before inviting everyone to play at once. Two people can share a board if they enjoy playing as a team.

Avoid treating duplicate copies as extra unique boards. People with the same board can finish together. If your event needs more distinct boards than the set provides, plan rotating groups or contact us about your needs before ordering.

Give the printable setup its own time slot

A digital download is a file, not a shipped game. This edition is available through its Etsy listing while direct delivery on our site is being prepared. Download the files using the instructions for the channel where you purchased them.

The board designs are 5 × 7 inches. Follow the supplied file layout and printing instructions, check the paper size in the print dialog, and print one test page before the full set. Make sure labels remain legible and nothing important is cut off.

Allow time for printing, cutting the calling cards, and sorting the boards. If a local shop will print the files, confirm its turnaround before making the party plan depend on it. Physical-set availability is handled by inquiry; do not assume a download purchase includes shipping.

Keep the game station simple

Use a well-lit table even if the rest of the room has moody Halloween lighting. Guests need to see the images and read both labels. Put drinks off to the side and keep the calling pile away from loose decorations.

Choose one person to welcome newcomers and one to call, or let the host do both for a small group. A sign showing the next round is more useful than a complicated tournament bracket.

Call each card in both languages

Read the Spanish and English labels in the same order each time, hold the image up, and give guests time to find it. Use the words printed on the cards so players can follow along.

Start with one clearly explained winning pattern. For a mixed-age or mixed-language group, a practice round can make the real game more comfortable. Check a winning board against the drawn cards, then clear all markers before another round.

Let the occasion set the tone

For a Halloween party, costumes and playful prizes can be part of the fun. If you are gathering to remember loved ones for Día de Muertos, plan the tone and activities around that purpose instead. They are different occasions; one party plan does not have to stand in for both.

For schools or community groups, review the complete card artwork with the organizer before printing. A product theme alone does not tell you whether every image or joke fits a particular group.

The day-before checklist

Then leave yourself a little room to enjoy the party. A prepared game station should make hosting easier, not give you another job for the whole evening.

• Confirm your guest count and board plan.
• Open the downloaded files and check your test print.
• Count the calling cards after cutting and sorting.
• Decide the winning pattern and tie rule.
• Pack boards, markers, cards, and any prizes together.
